Playstation fans need to brace themselves for more announcements concerning matters that would lead to the complete unveiling of the Playstation 4.
As regards Sony’s reason why no live demonstration has been shown during the Feb. 20 Playstation Meeting in New York City, the multimedia corporation ensured not to spill to much beans about the system aside from the conceptualized designs concepts for the upcoming high-end console.
Sony Computer of America (SCEA) President made it clear that it had no plans to unveil any information about Marketing the PS4. In a separate interview also, VP for World Wide Studios Michael stated in an interview with CVG that fans should expect constant announcements and updates in the coming months.
The February 20 event was simply what Sony needed to ignite the spark of excitement for the upcoming console. During this momentous occasion, a lot of doubts and rumours were laid to rest and pertinent information about the console was finally revealed. In addition, several announcements stemming from this event were also made. For instance, Sony Computer Entertainment announced its least of partners and middleware suppliers that will be working hand in hand with the organization to develop, hardware, software and titles for the game.

Several reposts, re-tweets and shares of the powerhouse specifications of the Playstation 4 spread like wildfire. Most were amazed with the octo-core (8-core) processor and the 1.8 TFLOPS AMD Core Next Engine. Others were ecstatic about the new Dual-Shock Controller with the touch-pad functionality and a highly sensitive six-axis sensor.
