Activision unhappy with Wii U release

Activision isn’t happy for the Wii U release. In the post-earnings finance call nowadays, company CEO Robert Kotick says Activision is “a bit unhappy” in the platform’s release. The console has sold three million copies globally up to now.

Kotick’s comments arrived reply to a question in regards to the sales prospect of Activision’s Skylanders series about the Wii U. He explained that for the reason that Skylanders sequence is targeted at kids 6 to 11, the bad launch is “some thing we’re worried about.”

Activision released today it has sold over 100 million Skylanders toys, with all the total franchise getting produced over $1 billion globally. The company also disclosed Skylanders: Swap Force soon, another entry in the sequence because of out this drop.

Although Activision was not entertaining in regards to the Wii U these days, it had some other reasons to be happy. The company published report revenue and profit for the 12 month ended December 31st.
